As a B2B business unit, Prologis Essentials is re-defining industrial real estate by designing the first warehousing-as-a-service customer experience. Prologis is seeking a Inside Sales representative for its Prologis Essentials business who will be instrumental in continuing to grow sales and support the Prologis Essentials platform. As an Inside Sales Rep, you will play a key role in supporting our growing sales team by accepting field generated leads and coordinating vendor facilitation of the sales process. You will be customer facing charged with site coordination, quoting, delivery of proposals and pipeline management. The ideal candidate will have good organizational skills, the ability to multitask, exceptional customer service experience and excellent communication skills.
What’s needed in order to do that:
  • Sales Executive:
    • Run small transactional deals from start to finish by taking leads, conducting qualification, and then running the sales process to completion.
    • Schedule appointments between customers and vendors as needed.
    • Assist with pricing and quoting, generate proposals, and support product presentations.
    • Log calls and meeting information in Salesforce.
    • Achieve assigned sales targets.
  • Customer Facing:
    • Using a transactional/product sales process, educate customers about Essentials products and services.
    • Communicate and coordinate with our customers to have Essentials vendors conduct site visits (like a dispatcher / orchestrator), generate quotes, and conduct presentations.
    • Build relationships with customers over zoom and telephone and cross-sell additional products and services.
  • Account Management:
    • Develop, nurture, and grow new and existing accounts by building customer rapport, providing technical information and explanations.
    • Conduct outreach on previously won or lost accounts to win additional opportunities in or out of the Prologis footprint.

    • Uncover new ways to improve the productivity and effectiveness of our sales team, contribute to designing sales process improvements, and support the development of best practices.

  • 1+ years of results-oriented sales, inside sales, or business development
  • Proficiency in Salesforce
  • Ability to convert pre-qualified leads and generate new business with existing customers by using upselling tactics that ensure a great customer experience
  • Keep up with product and service information, training, and updates
  • Fearless when seeking challenges, creatively solving problems, and uncovering learnings; willing to roll-up sleeves whenever necessary
  • Able to move quickly and decisively, while staying focused and organized, particularly with limited knowledge and partial understanding in highly collaborative, fast-paced environments
  • Self-starter, with strong desire to work as a team player and open to additional projects
  • Available for occasional business travel as needs dictate
Hiring Salary Range of: $80,000-$85,000. Salary to be determined by the candidate’s location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. This role is also eligible for Prologis’ commission plan.
